Style expert Christina Manca is a veteran merchandiser with a keen
eye for design, bringing her aesthetic know-how to bear to ensure
that troubled businesses are “dressed” for success.
For the past 13 years Christina has immersed herself in the field
of design. She is currently the owner of Drawing Board Design, Inc.,
a company she founded in 1998. In this role, Christina designs both
residential and retail spaces. She participates in all levels of the
design process, maintaining a close relationship with all of her clients.
As textiles manager at Holly Hunt, Christina worked with the most
prestigious design firms in New York developing fabric schemes for
many of their projects.
Prior to founding Drawing Board Design, Inc., she spent several years
as a freelance set decorator. Her film credits include, Sudden Manhattan,
starring Adrian Shelly and Louise Lasser; The Sticky Fingers of Time;
and Six Ways to Sunday, starring Deborah Harry; among others.
Christina began her retail career as an executive trainee for Macy’s
department store, and was immediately promoted to manage merchandising

lingerie department for the retail giant. After leaving Macy’s,
Christina furthered her career as manager for several Victoria’s
Secret flagship locations in the New York area.
Christina holds the prestigious “Rising Star” award bestowed
upon her by The International Furniture and Design Association (IFDA).
She has been published in Country Almanac, and interviewed in TV Guide.
She has been featured in The New York Times, and quoted in The Wall
Street Journal. She has appeared as an expert designer on HGTV’s
Smart Design, and on New York One.
Christina currently sits on the Board of Directors of the IFDA and
is a professional member of ASID. She is NCIDQ (National Council for
Interior Design Qualifications) certified. She graduated from Parsons
School of Design in 1994, after receiving her BSLA in Languages and
Linguistics from Georgetown University in 1989.
