As a veteran merchandiser, she has a keen eye for design, applying her aesthetic know-how to troubled businesses, making sure that they are 'dressed for success'.
As a Television Presenter, Christina is known for being quick on her feet and getting the job done. A people person at heart, her warmth and whimsy fill the screen. Her presenting role on HGTV (Smart Design and Bad Baths USA) and WE (Mom’s/Dad’s Dream Day) has consistently been as educator and partner, enabling audiences across the US and Canada to improve their quality of life. Working with participants and viewers alike is a passion. Her quick wit, compassionate ear, and adventurous spirit prove her to be an engaging entertainer.
Always looking for innovative media projects, Christina made her way to the Internet, hosting Powerhouse Live for www.PowerHouseStudios.tv, where her enthusiasm and fun-loving attitude are natural assets for interviewing fellow professionals. Her most recent endeavor is www.Gun4HireMarketing.com where she directs, produces, and presents customized TV style videos as cutting edge marketing tools for fellow entrepreneurs.
For over 15 years Christina immersed herself in the field of design. She is the Owner of Drawing Board Design, Inc., a company she founded in 1998. Her creativity is two-fold as both entrepreneur and designer. Prior to founding Drawing Board Design, Inc., she spent several years as a freelance set decorator. Her film credits include, Sudden Manhattan, starring Adrian Shelly and Louise Lasser; The Florentine starring Daniel Baldwin; and Six Ways to Sunday, starring Deborah Harry; among others.
Christina holds the esteemed “Rising Star” award bestowed upon her by The International Furniture and Design Association (IFDA). She has been published in Country Almanac, and interviewed by the BBC, TV Guide and Floral Management. She has been featured in The New York Times and quoted in The Wall Street Journal. She has appeared as an expert designer HGTV’s Smart Design, and on New York One.
Christina is currently a member of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts). She has also been a member of NYWIFT (New York Women in Film and Television). She is also NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualifications) certified. Having been awarded the Postgraduate Excellence Scholarship, she recently completed a Masters in Film and TV Studies at The University of Glasgow, which brought her to the UK.
Christina now resides in Glasgow where she spends her time working in TV development while producing and presenting customized TV style Marketing Videos for local businesses.
